Episode 29 – The Likeness by Tana French part 3 Resolution (of sorts)

August 14, 2019 by Mangum Reads

We take on our first detective/mystery novel with Tana French’s The Likeness as suggested by an avid ‘listener’. In our final installment we wrap up all the loose ends we can think of in this novel. We talk about how terrible the proposal and engagement are, how we feel about the novel’s balance, as well as cartwheeling a bit on the plot details since it had been at least a month since the initial read.

Next up: She Unnames Them by Ursula K. Le Guin

On deck:Playing Nice with God’s Bowling Ball by N.K. Jemisin

Next Novel: Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel

We’re pottering around with something new.
